A great new EP including three very different songs..... "Our perfect place to be" a flavour of the Humphry Bogart movie Casablanca, "I've loved you from the start" has a touch of Motown and "Falling" is a smooth rock tune....
NOTES
Studeo combines a wealth of musical experience and talent delivered by the two founding members of this exciting duo Christine and Jeremy. Whilst they are long time colleagues (married), who came together in the Australian covers band, Casablanca, in the late 70’s, they have developed and grown to build a new band, Studeo, with the goal of writing and recording their own material for a broader global distribution.
Their music base comes from a blending of their past musical working experiences, tastes and influences. They have worked to combine and present a new direction covering the best of contemporary musical spheres. They write a wide range of material designed to entertain and provide listening pleasure to ensure their fans and audiences thoroughly enjoy the experience.
The initial Studeo EP which was released in January 2017, includes the talents of Russ Zimmer, who co-wrote “Secret Conversations” and “I’m in Danger” from Studeo's second "This Time" EP.
Studeo’s EP, This Time, was released on 1 July 2017 by CD Baby on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify….etc and features 5 new tracks which have been written over the past 12 months both at home and whilst travelling. Inspiration for Studeo’s songs is often stimulated when Studeo are travelling “cruising the med” or visiting the US working on building and promoting the band.
The first Studeo EP, “Studeo” has been well received by fans and followers and now Studeo has had over 20,000 plays on Jango and airplay on various radio stations around the world. Studeo’s music is played on The Independent Music Show (Ireland), ICR (New Zealand), Arzuk Radio (California), Sue Walton Show (US), DC Coast to Coast (US), CC Country (US), Spectrum Radio (UK), Neon Radio (Florida), Paul Mac Hamilton Radio (Australia), Ray Hewitt Valley Sunrise (Tasmania Australia) and many more. Most of these radio stations are syndicated and provide broad exposure for independent music….
Studeo has also achieved some solid chart success this year (2017) with 3 of their songs:
o Don’t want to play these games – reached #9 on UK Spectrum Countdown Top 40 – April 2017
o I want to Make you mine – reached #4 on Fan Voted Chart (US) – June 2017 - Their success on this chart is demonstrated by Studeo setting the record peak for an Australian song. Quite a feat as these charts have existed for around 20 years!
o This Time – sitting at #6 on UK Spectrum Countdown Top 40 – Current September 2017
